Division1 (Maximum 8 teams registered) Non-Sanctioned Tournament 

Division 1:  Mar 09, 2026 to May 25, 2026 (once every week MON night at 7:00 PM, except Holiday)

Venue:           80E Centurian Drive, Unit 6 to 9;         https://MyTableTennisClub.ca 

Deadline: registration before Mar 03, 2026 12:00 pm

Entry Fee:        $200 per Team; and

                        $100 per Team as Security Deposit

(Security Deposit will be refunded if the team completes all necessary matches by 70% or more during the whole season.  All financial issues are dealing directly with each Team Captain only.)

Eligibility: MyTTC Annual Member only; add $60 per player for Non-member or Multiple Pass Members

Equipment: Double Fish tables and Double Fish New Plastic WTT ABS White V40+ mm 3-stars balls.

Conduct: The tournament will be conducted under the laws of the ITTF, the TTCAN, and the OTTA. All participants, by entering, agree to abide by the decisions of the Referee and the Tournament Director.

Team forming: Rating limit at Canadian Rating 4200 per team or lower for first three (3) higher players.   

Each team will have minimum of 3 or maximum 5 players at Team of 3, 4, or 5.

Format: 5 singles and 2 Doubles

A Team may consist of 3, 4, or 5 players.

Best of 7 matches (5 singles & 2 Doubles)

The order of play shall be:

Double (Any Combination),

A vs Y, B vs X,

Doubles (Any Combination),

C vs Z, A vs X, B vs Y

Doubles (Any combination but each player cannot play more than three (3) matches including Doubles in each round).

Two Stages (Single Round Robin and Play off)

First Stage:  Single Round Robin – All teams compete among each other based on classic team format (Best 4 of 7 singles & doubles matches). The top four teams are promoted into the second stage, Play-Off.

Second Stage: Play-Off – The top four teams are entering into the knock-off until the champion coming out. 

Matches must be complete on scheduled date or week and incomplete ones will be default without re-play.  The re-schedule is only accepted with consent from two teams incurred in advance and the re-play match must be taken right ahead of next schedule date.

Scoring: Winning team gets 2 scores, 1 score for losing one and zero score for defaulted team.

  1. For each team, a maximum of five (5) players regardless of gender may enter their respective teams. The combined total number of men’s and women’s team players shall not exceed five (5).
  2. For team match, each and his opposing team shall select three to five players from their pool of registered players.
  3. The team match shall be won by the team that wins four (4) out of the seven (7) individual matches. All individual matches are played in a best of five (5) games/sets format, with the player who wins three (3) out of the five (5) games/sets being declared the winner. All remaining individual matches are not necessary to be continued and completed when the said team match result has been known.
  4. The final positions and then prizes awarded are determined from the results of the team in “Play-Off”. 

Add Player(s) Policy:  During the season, any team can add player(s) with the relevant entry fee paid up to maximum of 5 players at her own will, but it must be before “the last round of “First Stage” finished.  New added player rating must only be below the highest rated player on the same team. The ratings and results created by the player(s) added are then counted effectively afterwards.   Limited 4200 or lower per Team is still applied.

Substitution Player(s) Policy:  NO substituted player(s) is allowed.

(The prize money will be half when the entry teams are less than 6)
